Hello there!

If you've been recently added to this lj's flist, it's because either you are on hp_losangeles or have some other affiliation with some of the other Harry Potter interests I'm involved with. (See my info page).

I've been on lj for many years. The time has come to transition to this new name. The kind of posts you can expect to see here will involved my public involvement in Harry Potter interests and where they take me in my public life.

Summer tour starts tomorrow!

We are touring all over the country! We're covering 34 states and even have a few gigs up in the Great White North of Canada. Have a look below at our incredible list of tour dates. We are really pumped and determined to make this the best summer ever!

Last month we had one of the biggest HPLA turnouts, with 20 people in the community room discussing all things Harry Potter than then some! Thank you Farmers Market for your wonderful Room of Requirement!

Book 7 Release: There's currently two Barnes and Noble locations where HPLA fans can come together to hang out for midnight activities on the eve of July 20th: The Grove and Manhattan Beach (hosted by our very own bkaob!)

Theories: We had some great discussions last month that should continue heartily this Saturday. Hopefully many of you have some interesting insights after the long talks last month and we can further the conversation!

OotP midnite screening: Many of us plan to see OotP at The Grove's theaters at midnight, I will have what info I can gather about purchasing tickets for that night, as HP5, as it's referred to, is not listed on movietickets.com yet .

For those of you who may not know, my father just passed away this last Friday, February 16th 2007. In a twisted sorta way, I really have my Dad to thanks for my love of falling in love with the world of Harry Potter. I won't go into it here, but if you know me well, you might think it ironic;)

Anywho, I will have the beautiful obituary my brother wrote posted at some point in time.

If you would like to stop by and spend some time with me and my family here are the places we will be honoring my father.
